Client experience has emerged as a significant opportunity for advice businesses to differentiate themselves in a market that has been notoriously resistant to differentiation.

It's equally as true that most advisers exert only minimal control over the quality, quantity and frequency of when referrals happen.
In this session, I'd like to share with you the science behind client referrals and, in doing so, some proven methods for being able to generate more "active" referral flow.

One of the most common reasons clients give for wanting to engage with coaching is to be "kept accountable".
Whenever I hear this, I usually push back. Accountability is in many ways a double-edged sword.
It absolutely can be the fuel for significant success, but if it's only being done to you it usually ends up feeling much like your mum reminding you to clean your room.
Not ideal...
The best kind of accountability comes from a mixture of external and internal, and in this training, I'm going to unpack the key insights into what accountability is, how to best leverage it to achieve the best outcomes, and how to ensure that you personally and your team can apply that accountability their own situation without the reliance on external factors

For some time now there has been a discussion as to whether it might be possible to move to a different way of working than the standard 5-day, 40-hour week.
In this module, we're going to unpack a case study of a practice that moved across to a 5 hr advice day.
In 2017, collins SBA in Tasmania made the decision to move across to a working system where employees were invited to work 5 hours a day.
Be warned though; since this module was created Collins SBA moved back, so in many ways what you will watch here is as much about understanding the challenges that come with trying to adopt new working styles and how it may place different demands on your team.
With so many changes to the way we've worked recently and ongoing discussions about how work may need to change in the coming years, this case study may be an important dive into the true learnings from a financial services firm in Australia who made the leap, what they had to change, and what they learnt about the way people work best.
